Twenty-two artists from across southern Louisiana participated in the event, "Painting History: One Stroke at a Time," and concluded it with a social and wet wall exhibition of works. With 300+ weekly paintouts over the last six years, artists of all skill levels gather to paint and share critiques. "Painting History: One Stroke at a Time" artists included Nanci Charpentier, Dana Mosby, Madhuri Yadlapati, DeeDee Wilbert, Gary Green, Sarah Burnette, David Boucher, Lorraine Sauls, David Gary, Katherine Daigle, Robn Cook, Ellen Jenkins, Carol Hackler, Jennifer Carwile, Oksana Fogg, Sabrina Schmidt, Marge Shanks, Roderick Murchison, Marylyn Daniel, Adrianna Speer, Marilyn Gensler, and Laura Martin. "Lavender Love" by Sabrina Schmidt, painted in Beauregard Town "Little Houses" by Marylyn Daniel "One Way" by David Gary, sold during the Wet Paint sale *Beauregard Gallery and Bistro, the first restaurant in the city to install fine art exhibitions by many prominent artists, began as C.C.
